A new year is officially underway, but law enforcement in West Texas is already working to close out unfinished business from 2025. The Abilene Police Department has released its latest Most Wanted list, and officials are asking for the public’s help, not action, but information.

Let me be very clear right up front: never attempt to approach or apprehend a wanted individual yourself. Police stress that some of these suspects may be armed or dangerous. Your role is simple: see something, say something, and stay anonymous.

Texas Rewards Offered for Information Leading to Arrests

Through Abilene Crime Stoppers, cash rewards ranging from $500 to $1,000 are being offered for tips that lead to the arrest of those responsible in these cases. In urgent situations, such as a suspect being spotted at a known location, calling the hotline is strongly encouraged to allow law enforcement to act quickly.

Crime Stoppers emphasizes anonymity at every step. They want your information, not your name.

Ways to submit tips:

  • Call (325) 676-TIPS (8477) or 1-800-868-8477
  • Submit online web tips
  • Use the P3 Tips App on your smartphone
  • Calling is best for time-sensitive information.

Texas Community Safety Starts With Awareness

I’ve said it for decades on the radio: "safe communities happen when good people speak up." This is not about fear; it’s about responsibility. If you recognize a name, a face, or have information that could help law enforcement, make the call and let professionals handle the rest.

As always, stay anonymous, stay safe, and help keep Abilene and West Texas protected.
