Clyde’s Second Chance Cowboy Church Is Hosting Its Fun Playdays
The Clyde, Second Chance Cowboy Church "Summer Playdays" is scheduled for Saturday, April 15, 2023. The Playday will be held on the Church grounds located at 9005 Texas Highway 36 West.
Competitors will be broken up into separate age groups starting with children ages 6 and under, 7 to 9 year-olds, 10 to 12 year-olds, 13 to 15 year-olds, 16 to 19 year-olds, and the open class.
Everyone is welcome to compete with the cost being $5 per event, $15 for all three events, and $5 for exhibitions limit of three. The payback will be fifty percent and it will all be based on the number of entrants per event.
Sign-ups will be done on the day of the event with books opening at 8:00 AM. As the weather continues to heat up, so will the competition at the Second Chance Cowboy Church.
More rodeo events will continue heating up with the "Summer Playdays" throughout the summer and into the early Fall months at the Second Chance Cowboy Church. The next events are on the schedule and slated for Saturdays through Fall.
Kay Orr, who is assisting the Second Chance Cowboy Church in getting the word out says that "everyone is invited to attend the Summer Playdays and or their Church services as well." Church services are Sunday mornings begging at 10:30 AM until 11:30 AM, and on Wednesday evenings from 5:30 PM until 7:30 PM. The Pastor at the Second Chance Cowboy Church is Terry Simmons.
