A police department in Texas is reaching out on social media to return illegal drugs to their rightful owner.

Police in Cisco, Texas received what they described as "a quantity of meth" after it was turned in to police headquarters. The stash was found near the local zoo, and police want to make sure it gets back to the right person.

If it is yours, please come by the police department and describe it and we will make sure you get it back.

Naturally, social media erupted with comedic posts with some pointing out "Mr White, they found the product" referring to the hit TV show "Breaking Bad". Others joked that "they would be by to pick it up shortly."

Others were more serious with their tone exclaiming that they were "glad it was found before a child found it."

At the time of this writing, the social media post had been shared by over 113 people with hundreds of likes.

Obviously, the post is meant to be a joke and not taken literally. I mean, I don't think the police would just hand over some illegal drugs to someone who claimed it. Wait, would they? (That's a joke)

So far there has been no word on if someone had claimed the drugs. But, this clever tactic is a reminder that while law enforcement is always on the lookout for illegal activities, they are also human and enjoy a good laugh.
