What happened?

On Tuesday, May 23rd, Brandon and Amanda Gall were inside their home when a tornado hit their residence. Their home was picked up and thrown approximately 50 feet by the twister.

The two both suffered injuries but luckily they did survive. However, the couple lost everything including their home, barn, shed, chicken coop, and other possessions.

You may not know this, but Brandon is Deputy Sheriff who protects and serves our community. He has helped hundreds of people and now it's our turn to help him.

Here's How You Can Help

On Thursday, June 1st, a fundraiser is being held for the Gall family at the Sheriff's Office at 450 Pecan Street in Abilene on Thursday, June 1st. There will be hamburgers, hot dogs, and chips for sale for $10. Every cent will go to the family to help with whatever they need.

In addition, there is also a GoFundMe page set up to help with finances if you are not able to make it tomorrow at the Sheriff's Office.

If you're able to help, that's awesome. At the very least, please share this info with others so that maybe we can get this family the help they need.
