Two high-profile Dallas Cowboys players took to social media to take a few jabs at each other.

Former Dallas Cowboys defensive end DeMarcus Lawerence signed with the Seattle Seahawks after spending 11 years wearing the star on his helmet. Apparently, "Tank" was a bit bitter as he threw a little shade on the Cowboys after signing the contract.

Wow! Those are some harsh words from a man who has received so much support from Cowboys Nation over the last 11 years. However, as a Cowboys fan myself, I see his point. A lack of moves to build a successful team has allowed mediocrity to set in and frustrations to mount over the past three decades.

It's been 30 years since the Dallas Cowboys' last appearance in a Super Bowl, a win against the Pittsburgh Steelers in 1995. Since then fans and players alike have grown more frustrated with what seems to be a lack of effort from the front office to build a team worthy of another appearance.

On one hand, I see a player who played hard for his team, only to be let down year after year. And another player simply defending his team. Who's right?

While the Dallas Cowboys do not play the Seattle Seahawks in 2025, it would be a pretty intense game if they were to meet in the playoffs. Who am I kidding? Cowboys in the playoffs?
