(Fort Cavazos, Texas) We all know that the men and women serving our military here in Texas are real heroes.

They are willing to do things that most of us would choose not to do, and it’s all to protect the freedoms that we all enjoy each day.

Every member of our military deserves respect and appreciation for what they do, but there was one soldier recently who wanted to go big and break a Guinness World Record.

Breaking a World Record Most of Us Would Never Want to Attempt

While the idea of breaking a Guinness World Record would be incredible, it takes skill and determination to put in the world to be able to accomplish that goal.

But recently there was one soldier who wanted to attempt to break the record for the fastest mile run in a bomb suit.

That’s right, while most of us would cringe at the idea of running a mile right now, this brave U.S. Army Captain strapped on a 50-pound bomb suit and took on the challenge.

And according to KETK, he did it!
