Did you make it through the summer so far without getting burned? I don't think I've been outdoors long enough this entire summer to even get pink. It's just been way too hot for me. I know, if I don't use sunscreen with an SPF of at least 50 or higher, I'm going to be a tomato. But some people on the internet claim to use wild alternatives for sunscreen. I'm sure you've noticed the crunchy mom on your timeline, swearing that smearing avocados all over your baby will work. (I have my doubts.)

Just another reminder that you can't trust things you see on the internet. People do dumb things to get views, and spreading misinformation is a great way to do that. Make sure you fact-check everything you see online, especially when it comes to important things like protecting your kids from being badly burned...or...you know...what's going on in Washington D.C..
