Update: 35+ DPS Vehicles Ride Ferry Over To Galveston During Jeep Weekend
A new traffic control plan starts on Friday, May 16, 2025, at 6 AM and ends on Monday, May 19, 2025, at midnight. Do not enter the marked "Public Safety Zones" near the dunes.
There is no parking, stopping, or standing along the beach. When you arrive, you will turn South to access the beach on Honeysuckle. When you leave, you will head north on Stingray Drive.
Traffic will only flow Eastbound on the beach during the event. Follow all posted signs, cones, and directives from law enforcement officers.
With the rules this year, it has turned into an orderly drive down the beach. Will all of these rules curtail the festivities or make it better? Let us know in the comments.
