Whataburger has already done a Dr Pepper shake in the past, but something new is supposed to be available starting next week.

Dr Pepper is a favorite drink for Texans already with their Whataburger. Back in 2019, Whataburger announced they would have a Dr Pepper shake. That shake has come back sporadically in recent years, but currently your Whataburger restaurants are serving up banana pudding shakes. Vanilla, chocolate, and strawberry are about to have a new flavor join the lineup.

Dr Pepper Blackberry Shake

Dr Pepper teased this last night and it looks like Whataburger has confirmed that a Dr Pepper blackberry shake will start arriving in restaurants next week. According to Whataburger Senior Vice President and Chief Marketing Officer Scott Hudler, the shakes should be arriving at your local Whataburger starting August 5th. 

What Does the New Dr Pepper Shake Taste Like?

'This new item features Whataburger's signature Vanilla Shake base swirled with familiar Dr Pepper and a touch of blackberry flavor. The result? A smooth, indulgent treat with just the right amount of pizzazz. A Texas-sized delight in every cup.'

Whataburger Anniversary Also Next Week With Discounted Burgers

If that was not enough to get you to hit up Whataburger. This restaurant is celebrating it's 75th anniversary. Back on August 8, 1950 the first Whataburger opened in Corpus Christi, Texas. To celebrate, the restaurant is offering 75 cent Whataburgers. This will only be available to rewards members through the Whataburger app. So be sure you sign up to get a burger on the cheap next Friday.
