Several Texas colleges have a new addition to their helmets this weekend and here is the reason behind it.

College football is back this weekend and if you root for a team based in Texas. The vast majority of them are wearing a new sticker this season. The sticker is the state of Texas wrapped in a green ribbon. The green ribbon symbolizes remembrance for victims lost in a tragedy. This is to honor those who lost their lives during the central Texas floods fourth of July weekend.
