If you're in search of the best sandwiches in Texas, I've got you covered.

For my money, a sandwich is the perfect lunch. They’re quick and easy to make and of course, the main thing – they're delicious.

But sometimes, I want to let someone else make one for me. And there’s just something about a fresh sandwich from the deli.

So, I perked up when I saw that Yelp had released its latest list of the best sandwiches in every state. While taste is subjective, and the subject of who makes the best sandwiches in the Lone Star State is debatable, I’ve found Yelp to be a reliable source when searching for great food.

I often write about my love for road trips. And when I’m out road-tripping, I want to eat where the locals eat. In fact, I’m not above making a road trip just to try some great food.

And that’s one of the great things about this job. I’m always writing about great food. So, my bucket list of eateries I need to try is growing faster than I can keep up with (it’s a great problem to have).

One fine eating establishment that just got added to the old bucket list is Tony’s Italian Delicatessen in Montgomery.

Tony’s scored an almost perfect rating of 4.9 out of 5. That’s impressive considering that over 840 Yelp users have reviewed Tony’s.

Hit up their website to take a look at the menu. However, don’t do as I did and check it out right before lunch. Unless, of course, you live in the area and can pop in for one of those awesome sandwiches.
