The number 13 is the stuff of superstition. There is a recognized psychological phobia or fear of that number. The clinical name for that fear is Triskaidekaphobia.

There are tons of legends about the fear of the number 13. One of the best-known legends about that number stems from the belief that Judas, the disciple that betrayed Jesus, was the 13th person to sit down at the Last Supper table.

The fear of Friday stems from Biblical tradition. According to Christian tradition, Jesus was crucified on a Friday. Friday was also said to be the day when Eve gave Adam the fateful apple from the Tree of Knowledge and the day of the first murder when Cain killed his brother Abel.
