
Federal Contractor Now Victim After Ft. Cavazos Texas ‘Incident’
Fort Cavazos, Texas is the largest military base on the planet, and is primarily used for desert warfare training as the permanent cantonment for the III Armored Corps. With all of the troops passing through the post, living both inside the gate and within Killeen and the surrounding area, there is always a very large mix of military and civilian personnel movement.

Often there are federal contractors that also make their way onto the post for various assignments and training operations. These experts can sometimes be demonstrating new technology or equipment that is going to be used by the 21st century version of mounted warriors.
Federal Contractor Now Victim After Ft. Cavazos Texas 'Incident'
According to this KCEN article, a federal contractor died during what they are only describing as an "incident" at the Clabber Creek Multi-Use Range yesterday. There was a communication released from Fort Cavazos Garrison Commander Col. Lakicia Stokes that said everyone is cooperating fully as the investigation into exactly what happened is being conducted.

So, not a lot of information to form any opinions yet, but we do know that a guest of Fort Cavazos has passed away, and they were employed as a federal contractor. Once the proper authorities have had a chance to investigate, details that are eligible for disclosing will most likely be given to us, and we will better understand if the "incident" was criminal or accidental.
