A Blue Moon In Texas? Aren't You Talking About The Beer?
Nope, we're not talking about the alcohol. Instead, a true blue moon will be over the Lone Star State. But when exactly will it making its grand appearance?
According to the Fort Worth Star-Telegram, there are not one, but two, special moons appearing in the month of August 2023. The month begins with a supermoon on the first on the month, which is a very strong start isn't it?
But here's our favorite part, a blue moon will be over the state of Texas. But, the moon itself won't be blue sadly. Instead, the term means that two times in the month, we've gotten a full moon.
The second full moon AKA the blue moon, will occur on August 30, 2023. The Star-Telegram states the next blue moon won't happen again until 2026, so we better not miss this one!
