According to TSA.gov,
TSA PreCheck provides expedited security screening benefits for flights departing from U.S. Airports.
Basically, TSA PreCheck can save you time going through airport security. It can enhance your travel experience greatly and is a great thing to have! We have it and our only regret is not getting it sooner.
HOW MUCH DOES IT COST FOR TSA PRECHECK?
The application fee is $78 and lasts for five years. Well worth it in my opinion if you fly often.
WHERE CAN I GET MY TSA PRECHECK?
So this is the best part and the entire purpose of this article. TSA PreCheck events do not happen in Midland-Odessa. We had to travel to Hobbs to get ours. There were 2 scheduled for this year and quickly the 1st one filled up. But don't fret there will be another at Midland International Air & Space Port in September.
