Coldplay’s Only Texas Show Reminded Us What Being Human Means
El Paso, Texas was home to the 200th concert on Coldplay's “Music of The Spheres” world tour and if you were one of the 90,000 people who attended the concert then you know that the whole show was a beautiful experience!
Yea, it was a ridiculously hot two days, but the second Coldplay stepped foot on that stage we all forgot about the heat and were taken to another world. A world that promoted love and unity, and personally It is an experience I will never forget!
Coldplay’s Only Texas Stop was a city that connected two countries
El Paso, Texas was the ONLY Texas city on Coldplay’s world tour and during their concert, lead singer Chris Martin, shared a special thank you to El Paso’s very own Jim Ward.
“He’s the one who told us about El Paso and made us fall in love with it from afar and he wasn't lying. Thanks Jim, We love you.”
Viral Moments From Coldplay’s El Paso, Texas Sold Out Shows
Love was DEFINITELY in the air as multiple couples decided to use the special concert as a way to express their love to their significant others!
I was able to witness one of Coldplay’s shows and during the show Chris Martin spots a man in the crowd holding up a sign asking him to help him propose to his girlfriend.

Chris agreed and the whole crowd was able to witness the beautiful moment! And apparently day 2 had even more proposals.
Some Coldplay Fans Got The Best FREE Seats to The show
Yup, the iconic mountain seats stole the show as Chris noticed a group of people had climbed the mountains that are located right by the stadium. He gave them a shoutout on night one, and then he even made a funny song for them.
I wouldnt call myself the biggest Coldplay fan ever, but I do enjoy their music. However, after witnessing the beautiful show they put on, it’s safe to say I am a Coldplay fan.
Chris Martin made sure to put on a show that had us singing, laughing, crying and most importantly it was a show for people from all over the world. That night, we were all just humans! No political affiliations, no race, no religions. Humans. And he reminded us that at the end of the day being a kind human and loving one another is what will help us get through all the tragedy happening around us.
So, Chris (Christopher) Martin and the rest of the band, THANK YOU for bringing your positive energy to our beautiful city. You all are always welcomed back!
(P.S. I can confirm—Chris Martin is as kind in real life as he is on stage. Kind, patient, and a beautiful human being. 😊)
