El Paso kids these days just won’t ever get to experience a classic El Paso birthday party like we used to back in the day. (Not me aging myself. Yikes!) Back when I was a kid I remember having the most fun birthday parties at Pistol Pete’s pizza, Mcdonald’s and other businesses that don’t exist in El Paso, TX anymore!

I love taking a stroll down memory lane with locals and decided to ask El Pasoans what ICONIC El Paso business was the place to be for birthday parties when they were a kid and of course, they did not disappoint!

Top 7 El Paso Birthday Party Spots We Wish Would Come Back

Pistol Pete’s Pizza 🍕
The ultimate party zone. Pizza, games, chaos. Perfection.

Chuck E. Cheese (the OG version)
Back when Chuck E. was slightly terrifying, and that made it better.

McDonald's with the Caboose/Trolley 🚂
The VIP room of McDonald’s parties. Elite only.

Mr. Gatti’s
Pizza buffet and game tokens? Childhood heaven.

Discovery Zone (DZ)
Climbing tunnels, slides, and a guaranteed scraped knee.

Western Playland at Ascarate Park 🎢
Before it moved, it was the outdoor party spot.

Putt-Putt Golf on Airway ⛳
Friendly competition, questionable golf skills, and ice cream after.

HONORABLE MENTIONS:

Roller King: Where you fell in love, or fell... on your face. Either way, a vibe.

Your cousin’s backyard with a sketchy piñata & a jump balloon: Nothing beats that classic chaos. Nothing.

Castle Park / Castle Dragon: Mini castles and birthday magic. Enough said.

6 Places Loud Kids Definitely Shouldn't Be Allowed

Let’s be real—kids are adorable, but sometimes their volume can rival a rock concert. Sure, we love their enthusiasm, but there are a few places where we kind of wish they could hit "mute" just for a little while. So, here are the top places, according to Texans, where loud kids really shouldn't be allowed (unless, of course, they come with a built-in noise-canceling feature).
