Where to Recycle Your Live Christmas Tree for FREE in El Paso
Well, the holiday high is officially over, but for my teenage son he NEVER wants it to be over!! I have already taken down all of our Christmas decorations inside the house, but there is one major decoration that my son refuses to let me tear down: The Christmas tree.
My teenage son is currently campaigning to keep our tree up until February. February. At one point he even suggested keeping it up all year and just decorating it for every holiday!! That is way too much dedication for me!
There is a national holiday for everything and thankfully there’s a national holiday for taking down your Christmas tree!

National Take Down The Christmas Tree Day
National Holiday Today shared more details on this unofficial holiday writing:
After the bustle and excitement of the Christmas season, National Take Down the Christmas Tree Day on January 6 provides the perfect end to the season. It’s the last of the 12 days of Christmas and encourages us to finally let go of the holidays, take down our trees, and usher in Epiphany.
I was curious to see when other El Pasoans took down or planned to take down their trees and honestly, I was surprised. Take a look at their responses below:
