DALLAS (AP) — A judge has imposed a gag order on the attorneys in the trial of former Dallas Cowboys defensive tackle Josh Brent for intoxication manslaughter.
Judge Robert Burns made his ruling Tuesday morning, the start of the second day of Brent's trial in a December 2012 wreck that left teammate Jerry Brown dead.

Burns has previously warned attorneys on both sides to be careful what they say about the highly publicized case. But he went one step further after the first day of testimony Monday.

Brent could face up to 20 years in prison if convicted of driving drunk and causing Brown's death. Jurors can also convict him of manslaughter.

Prosecutors say there's ample evidence against Brent, but Brent's attorney denies that his client was drunk when the crash occurred.
