(KNUE-FM) Everyone in Texas wants to live a long life and people are thinking about making healthy choices right now as we kick off a new year. It sounds great, but what are those changes that we need to make if we want to live to be old and grey here in the Lone Star State?

There are some that everyone knows, and others you probably know but getting a reminder is always a good thing when we’re trying to be healthy.

Just like so many other Texans, I push myself to go to the gym or get exercise—even when I’d rather lay on the couch. While I know my diet could be better, I try to eat salads and other healthy foods regularly.
