Let's face it - 99.999% of the population doesn't like candy corn. I'll admit that maybe that's a bit of an exaggeration, but not much.

I assume someone somewhere loves candy corn. It’s just that I’ve never met them. Most folks I know avoid it like the plague. You sure won’t catch me reaching into a bowl full of it when I’m in the mood for a snack. I would have to be desperate for something sweet.

Now, I’m not trying to offend anyone. I’m merely throwing it out there in case you think it’s a good idea to save a few bucks and pass out candy corn instead of something kids will actually eat. You’re better off shutting the porch light off and ignoring the doorbell on Halloween. There’s no need to waste your time or money.

Study Finds Only 21% of Texans Will Hand Out Candy Corn

That said, according to a study by The Action Network, there’s a 21% chance that Texas trick-or-treaters will get candy corn this Halloween. That’s slightly lower than the national average of 22%. It’s good to know most Texans share my feelings on candy corn. So, don’t be the guy who hands out candy corn, because no one likes that guy.
