New on SATV!

SATV, the City of San Angelo’s government access channel, is airing new programming that features a speech by City Manager Daniel Valenzuela, City Council budget discussions and an interview with Councilman Rodney Fleming.

Valenzuela’s State of the City address, delivered at the Chamber of Commerce’s monthly luncheon on Aug. 13, can be viewed on SATV, Suddenlink cable channel 17, at 10 a.m. and at 6:30 p.m. daily.

Following the State of the City address, the City Council’s budget workshop from Aug. 13 is airing at 10:30 a.m. and 7 p.m. daily through Tuesday, Aug. 20. The Council’s regularly scheduled Aug. 20 meeting, which will include further budget discussions, will begin airing at 10:30 a.m. and 7 p.m. on Wednesday, Aug. 21.

The newest episode of “theCITY,” an interview show, will begin airing on Tuesday, Aug. 20, and will feature Single-Member District 1 Councilman Rodney Fleming, who was elected to the seat in June. Fleming discusses the challenges he faces as a new Council member and the top issues his is looking to address. “theCITY” airs at 6 a.m., 7 a.m. and 6 p.m. daily. The episode also features an employee spotlight of emergency dispatcher David Behrends.
