Here in the Concho Valley we have an incredible organization that helps pets who have lost their way.  PAWS (Pets Are Worth Saving) does a lot of great work on behalf of our four-legged friends of all types here in the Concho Valley.

They operate a pet food pantry.  They offer neuter and spay vouchers. They do good work for pets who just need someone to care.  PAWS literally saves pet lives by getting new homes for these wonderful pets, who just want someone to love them.

Of course PAWS can always use monetary donations, but there are many other gifts you can give.  They have a program where volunteers can walk shelter dogs.  These animals love to get out and enjoy the fresh air, and frankly you can use the fresh air also.
