Powerball Lottery Jackpot Expands To $750 Million

Here we go again! Another record setting lottery jackpot could be won Wednesday night!

After unsuccessfully matching five numbers that were randomized along with a sixth, the Powerball Lottery jackpot has grown from $625 million to $750 million becoming the fourth largest lottery prize in U.S. history. The next drawing will be held on Wednesday, March 27th. If someone successfully matches the five randomized numbers and the sixth Powerball, they will take home $750 million dollars or if they choose the cash option they'll collect $465.5 million.

I'm just like anyone else, I'm already thinking about how I could spend $750 million or my $465.5 million from the cash option, but I know all of it won't be coming to me because the government ALWAYS gets involved in lottery winnings and takes 30 - 40% for taxes. CNBC has a run down of just exactly how much they'll take and let's just say it's not pretty!
