CARROLLTON, Texas (AP) — Three suspects have been arrested following a crime spree that prompted a North Texas district to delay opening two schools amid the search for suspects.

Carrollton police on Monday detained three men and searched for a fourth.

Investigators say three armed, masked men broke into a Flower Mound home on Sunday night, stealing money and jewelry. Police arrested the alleged getaway driver outside in a vehicle. The other three men ran.

Police say a vehicle was carjacked in neighboring Lewisville and driven to Carrollton, where two suspects were nabbed Monday.

Authorities didn't immediately release details on charges.

The Lewisville Independent School District delayed the start of classes at a middle school and an elementary school until 10 a.m. Monday. Administrators cited overnight police activity in the area.
