Texas State Senator Charles Perry (R- Lubbock) will host a series of town hall meetings next month with State Representative Dustin Burrows (R- Lubbock).  Much of Burrows' District 83 overlaps Senate District 28.

“I have enjoyed traveling throughout the district visiting with constituents and hearing their concerns,” said Senator Perry. “I look forward to continue visiting with constituents at town hall forums throughout the interim so that I can properly represent the citizens of my district in the next legislative session.”

Perry's Senate District 28 is the largest in the state at 52 counties. Last month, Senator Perry held town hall meetings with State Rep. Drew Springer, as they visited 15 counties together.

“We had a strong first session in the Senate passing several important bills to our district and serving as the first freshman since 1993,” said Perry. “We passed a conservative budget that properly funds public education and border security, while significantly reducing both our state property tax and business tax.”
