Swimming Pool Accident Claims Brothers

HOUSTON (AP) — Investigators say two brothers have died following a swimming pool accident at the children's home in Houston.

The Harris County Precinct 5 Constable's Office says the boys, ages 6 and 9, died after Thursday night's accident.

Authorities say a 12-year-old girl ran to an off-duty deputy constable, who was working security at the subdivision, to say her brothers were drowning. The officer and a nanny at the home pulled the boys from the pool. The children died at a hospital.

Their names and further details on the accident weren't immediately released.
