The last two times the Texas Tech Red Raiders and Oklahoma Sooners strapped it up in Lubbock, the games were instant classics.

The 2018 matchup featured a strong first half from Texas Tech QB Alan Bowman, but ended with OU's Kyler Murray doing Kyler Murray things. The 2016 game is one of the greatest duels of all-time featuring Baker Mayfield and Patrick Mahomes. (Also, some mass-cussing.)

Now, in 2020, the Red Raiders and Sooners will have another opportunity with a new starting QB to make some magic happen, and it will again kick off at 7 p.m.

The Oklahoma vs Texas Tech game is officially set for Halloween night at 7 p.m. and will be aired on FOX.

Halloween obviously won't look like it normally does in the city because of the impact of the coronavirus, but the stadium will certainly have a good atmosphere on Halloween night, with the 25 percent capacity fans wearing Halloween costumes at the Jones.

All 10 Big 12 teams are scheduled to appear on Halloween night, which should make for some very spooky moments.

Iowa State will try not to dress up as pre-2017 Iowa State and beat Kansas. The Wildcats will continue to dress up like a Bill Snyder-coached team and beat West Virginia. TCU and Baylor will both dress up like they matter in the Big 12. Texas will dress up like Oklahoma State, and Oklahoma State will dress up like reporters from OANN.

The Red Raiders will be wearing Heath Ledger Joker facepaint like it's 2008 again, hoping Eric Ezukanma or TJ Vasher can bust a big one late. Oklahoma's Lincoln Riley will dress up like the West Texan he used to be.
