Texas Tech will have three Red Raiders taking part in the newly structured 2021 NFL Scouting Combine with Jack Anderson, TJ Vasher and Zech McPhearson all receiving invites for the virtual event scheduled to take place in March.

The combine has been a fixture for draft prospects in Indianapolis for many years, but this year it will be a virtual combine with all of the workouts scheduled to be at individual pro days. The Combine will feature invited participants interviewing with NFL personnel virtually.

All three of Texas Tech's invited participants have been busy this offseason. Anderson spent the week at the Reese's Senior Bowl. McPhearson played in the Hula Bowl. Vasher took part in a five-day showcase for draft prospects in Fort Worth.

Last year the Red Raiders had Jordyn Brooks, Broderick Washington and Terence Steele participate in the NFL scouting combine with all three finding their way onto NFL rosters. Both Brooks and Washington getting drafted and Steele getting picked up as an undrafted free agent by the Dallas Cowboys where he started in 14 games at right tackle as a rookie.

Anderson has the best chance to be drafted in April, but I wouldn't surprised if Vasher impresses with his pro day. NFL Draft coverage on April 29th through May 1st will be provided on ABC, ESPN, and NFL Network.

Anderson, McPhearson, and Vasher will work out for NFL scouts on April 7th inside the Football training facility.
