Write A Novel!

National Novel Writing Month or NaNoWriMo starts its 15^th year on November 1^{st !}
What:  TGC Library will have a kickoff open to the public
When:  5:00 pm on November 1
Where:  Sugg Community Room, Stephens Central Library, 33 W. Beauregard

All three library locations will host write-ins throughout November.

NaNoWriMo of Berkeley, CA expects over 500,000 writers around the world to participate this year.  The challenge is to write a novel by 11:59 pm on November 30 of at least 50,000 words.

As many NaNoWriMo writers have discovered, the best way to learn to write a novel is by simply plunging in to write a novel.”

Since 2006, over 100 NaNoWriMo novels have been released by traditional publishing houses; hundreds by smaller presses and countless more have been self published.
