Bottled Up – New to San Angelo is Bottling Up Traffic
We have a new business in San Angelo called Bottled Up on Knickerbocker and it is so popular that it's presenting some traffic issues.
If you have driven up Knickerbocker just about anytime this place is open, I'm sure that you have noticed the traffic lane closest to the curb is at a stand still as you get close to the business. What a lot of people don't seem to understand, don't want to understand, or just don't care to understand, is that it is not a drive through lane, but rather it is a driving lane on a very busy street and people are stopped on it waiting to get into this new business.
As you can see in the picture that I took, the entrance to some businesses are even being blocked by the line of cars waiting to try Bottled Up.
I'm all for business success and I think in the few days that they have been open, it's obvious it's a very popular place and people are anxious to try it, but come on.....safety first and obey the law. Anyone could get a ticket for parking and waiting on a street, or it could cause an accident, especially as busy as Knickerbocker is.
If you can't get into their drive way now, come back later and try it again. I'm pretty sure they will be in business for quite some time.
Bottled Up is not the first and won't be the last new business that people just can't wait to try and sometimes safety and reason go out the window when people try to force the issue.
I wish our new business, Bottled Up lots of success. It's great to see them doing so well. All that I am suggesting is a little patience and common sense as you look forward to trying them out.
I would love for you to comment as to how you feel about this!
