Come out this Saturday and Sunday for a fun day watching the best Radio controlled model aircraft flying at the 34th  annual Fall Fun Fly In.

Aircraft of all sizes including giant 45% scale models will take to air starting at 9 am each day at Angelo Radio Control Club’s airfield on Arden RD,1 mile west of Jim Bass Ford.

See some of the best pilots in the country. Gas, Nitro, and Electric powered aircraft of all types; Era war planes, jets, helicopters, quads (drones), biplanes, and the list goes on with many of these aircraft being one-of-a-kind. There will be several demonstrations to include: limbo, races, and pattern contest.

Admission is free and you can meet the pilots and visit with club members about the hobby and buy a raffle ticket for more than $500 of prizes including RC planes.

The 2015 Concho Classic Marching Band Festival is this Saturday starting at 9am with the first band.

Enjoy 15 marching band performances from area schools. The Central High School Mighty Bobcat Band performs at 3:20 and the ASU Ram Band performs at 3:40.

Admission is $5.00 for adults, $3.00 for kids 10 and under. Concessions will be available. Come out and enjoy these great bands as they get ready for UIL Marching Contests.
