Due To Huge Success Farmers Market Forced To Move

SAN ANTONIO (AP) — A farmers market in a San Antonio shopping district known as the Quarry has found a new home.   

The owners of the Quarry Farmers & Ranchers Market on Sunday announced plans to move less than 2 miles away to The Yard on McCullough.

Managers of the current location in November advised Heather Hunt and David Lent that the market must close amid concerns about traffic and parking. The market had been drawing as many as 4,000 visitors on weekends to the parking lot site near a supermarket.

The new location opens next Sunday.
