It's a proven fact.

You can tell how healthy the economy of a city is by the number of coffee shops that city has. So San Angelo must definitely be booming. There are actual studies that prove that the price of real estate actually goes up in neighborhoods close to gourmet coffee shops.

Drumroll please...

PJ's Coffee is set to conquer Texas, claiming they're planning over 100 new locations in the Lone Star State.

From the PJ's blog: "In New Orleans, there's a coffee house around every corner. With plenty of competition, customer loyalty is critical for business owners. For over 40 years, we've served up our customers' favorite brews, constantly expanding our menu to meet customer needs."

Plus, their uniforms are purple. If they roll out a dinosaur mascot, I'm running away, very fast.

PJ's Coffee will bring a taste of New Orleans to San Angelo. Some of their coffee bean flavors definitely scream Louisiana. You can find Carnival Blend, Banana's Foster, and Southern Pecan. They even have a cold brew that's supposed to taste just like the Mardi Gras favorite King Cake. I just wonder if they hide a little baby doll inside the drink somewhere.
