
Texas Makes The Cut Of Top 20 Most Entertaining Cities In America
If you ask people from the Permian Basin about the local entertainment scene, they probably won't have many positive things to say. There isn't much variety when it comes to things to do, but it has gotten better.

Anyone who has dealt with the cities in the Permian Basin knows that they have been growing, not just in population but in business. Places to eat pop up all the time and it seems like more events are being brought into the area.
Even though the Permian Basin is improving in the entertainment department, it's safe to say cities in the Permian probably won't make it on the list of most entertaining cities in the United States.
MOST ENTERTAINING CITIES IN AMERICA
Action Network studied the 100 most populated cities in the US using 11 key factors, including casinos, museums, arcades, theaters, Instagram hashtags, bingo rooms, card rooms, and racinos.
Each city looked at had an entertainment score calculated and could only get a max score of 10.
It shouldn't be a surprise that Las Vegas, Nevada came in at #1 scoring a 10 out of 10.
New York City, New York was not far behind at #2 with a score of 9.66.
Even though Philadelphia, Pennsylvania came in 3rd, it wasn't even close to catching New York City. The City of Brotherly Love scored 4.51 out of 10.
TEXAS MOST ENTERTAINING CITIES IN AMERICA
The Lone Star State wasn't able to get a spot in the top ten. Considering there are only three casinos in Texas, it wasn't a surprise.
Houston ranked the highest out of Texas. H-Town came in 15th with an earned score of 2.97 out of 10.
Fort Worth followed up close behind at #19 earning a score of 2.76 out of 10.
