On Wednesday afternoon, the deadline to withdraw from the NBA draft and return to school for College basketball players testing the waters, Terrence Shannon Jr tweeted the following video of Ronald Ross giving a motivational speech about Texas Tech. The video ends with a simple message, "Run It Back."

The Red Raiders get a huge piece back in Shannon Jr who at times was the best player on the floor for Texas Tech last season even when coming off the bench. As a sophomore Shannon averaged nearly 13 points per game with four rebounds and a shooting percentage of better than 35% from beyond the arc. He was also one of five finalists for the Julius Erving Award, which goes to the best small forward in the nation.

Shannon was quoted as saying he wouldn't play for anyone other than Mark Adams at Texas Tech and now he'll get his wish.

Red Raider fans have fallen in love with Shannon's full-court steal and thunderous dunk combos and will certainly be able to see more of that as he returns to Lubbock for Mark Adams' new-look Red Raiders.

With Shannon's return to Texas Tech, the Red Raiders add eight new faces to the roster but return three of the top five scorers with Kyler Edwards moving on to Houston and Mac McClung staying in the hunt for a professional opportunity.

The Texas Tech roster is now up to 13 scholarship players. With Marcus Santos-Silva getting a "free" year after COVID-19 there is still the option for the coaching staff to add one more player to this roster.

For now, here are your 2021-22 Texas Tech Red Raiders:
