RadioShack, Wednesday, filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection for the second time in just over two years. This leaves the future of the electronics retailer in doubt. According to abcnews.go.com, the Fort Worth based company, has struggled to hang on to customers as more and more people shop with online retailers.

Under the new plan, the company is set to close 200 of it's nation-wide stores and re-evaluate the remaining 1300.

RadioShack currently employs almost 6,000 people. According to the latest bankruptcy filing the company will work to "preserve as many jobs as possible."

The company advises customers with a RadioShack gift card to spend it at one of their stores by April 7th.
